Our nation is aware of a difficult situation and it is very difficult to maintain because individuals do not comply, they roam about without wearing masks, and they do not even distance themselves socially. So we know that education is necessary, according to me, but safety comes first and we need to protect students because we only live once, so I suggest some of the students should not return to school next week.
Education Minister Angie Motshekga should take this into account, because it will help a lot. Grades R,1,2,3,4,8 and 9 do not go to the next school until all learners are vaccinated, and as the chance of dying from the virus is minimal, it would be safer. We also have to think outside the box because a life can be replaced, but a grade can be replicated so that the grade can remain at home for me next week and before we recover.
