SA COVID-19 deaths exceed 13,500

JOHANNESBURG – The Health Department recorded 194 new deaths in South Africa.This brings the total number of fatalities to 13,502.Most of the latest SA COVID-19 deaths are from Gauteng, the Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal.

The number of cases increased to 615,701.

That’s after the country recorded 2,684 new infections in the last 24 hours.

More than 525,000 people have recovered from the virus.

The recovery rate moves up to 85 percent.
